New Season 2007 - 2008
The new season is upon us and after a long break, our teams begin another season full of optimism and enthusiasm. The 2006 - 2007 season saw a lot of success for a lot of teams. Whether it was winning cups, promotions or bettering their previous performances, each is considered success.
Mini soccer goes from strength to strength, which is the life blood of the club. By building the number of teams they do SBJFC can provide safe football for boys and girls of all abilities and ensure that children play at the correct level.
It is hoped that this will allow more boys and girls to progress to Centres of Excellences or Academies, where they will get the opportunity of the highest level of coaching and playing in leagues with other CoE and Academy players. Players this year have been released to, or trialled for many of these centres, such as Watford, Luton, Southend and Tottenham.
The Girls Section is growing with added age groups of Under 9, 10 and 11. We wish these new teams all the best and hope that they have an enjoyable and fruitful season. We hope that they stay with the club and eventually migrate into the Ladies Section.
The Ladies Team had a very successful season, tasting action in the F.A Cup at the beginning of the season and finishing Division 1 Runners Up at the end of the season.
Managers and Parents, please remember to submit Match Reports, articles and Photos to ensure that the website is current and vibrant during this season.

County Cup Competitions
This season the club have 16 teams entered into the Herts FA County Challenge Cup competitions. Teams are entered from every section of the club.

Stevenage Borough Juniors are looking for Girls and Boys in all age groups. If you are an established player, or a new player looking to play football, we will probably have a team for you. All managers are FA qualified. Stevenage Borough are committed to sport for all and in providing sport in a safe and organised environment.
